Definition
Power distribution is the final stage in the transmission of electricity from power generation plants. Primary distribution substations connect to the transmission system to lower the voltage and carry it further to the secondary substations located near the customer’s premises to serve them with reliable and high-quality power.
Application
The MILE switchgear can be used for primary and secondary distribution purposes. It features the arc-resistant metal-enclosed design classified according to LSC2B-PM, AFLR 31,5 kA/1s and ratings up to 4000A to cover the most demanding applications, such as mining, oil and gas, marine, data centers and other infrastructure segments.
At the same time, cost-effective standardized panels with vacuum circuit breakers or fuse-switch disconnectors offer high-performance functionality for the secondary distribution applications, such as the supply of electrical energy to residential areas, office buildings, shopping centers, hotels and many others.
